Gregory Douglass
Evocative Alternative/Pop/Rock

PRO: Emote Man Music/BMI

GREGORY DOUGLASS-- is an undeniable, pure talent, both as a musician, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur.  By the age of 31, the prolific writer and established musical virtuoso had released eight critically acclaimed, independent CDs and several singles and EPs, displaying the songwriting skills of an "old soul" and "the voice of an angel" (Seven Days). Douglass' evocative amalgamation of contemporary folk, pop, and rock have been compared to Tori Amos, Jeff Buckley, Patty Griffin, Rufus Wainright, and Peter Gabriel.  His critically acclaimed CD "Battler" released in March 2009 featured fellow Vermonters, Anais Mitchell and Grace Potter. His 2011 release, "Lucid" (Emote Records), is a dream-inspired concept album and was featured on NPR's Morning Edition December 2011. Gregory was a finalist in the 2012 Mountain Stage songwriting contest. Through a successful Kickstarter campaign, Douglass' will release his ninth studio album this year that will prove to be his most emotional album to date.

"Douglass—with his gorgeous voice and poignant, piercing lyrics—burns with a fire that cannot be extinguished or ignored."
